The Gurkha Memorial Fund is proud to announce the return of the Folkestone Charity 10km Coastal Walk, taking place on Saturday 2nd May 2026. This much-loved event brings together the community for a scenic walk along the beautiful Folkestone coastline, all in support of a meaningful cause.

Event Details

The walk will begin at 10:30 AM from the Bandstand on The Leas, Folkestone (CT20 2EB). Whether you're an experienced walker or simply looking to get involved in a great cause, this event is open to all.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Gurkha Memorial Fund's mission to provide computer technology education to schools in impoverished areas of Nepal, as well as supporting initiatives within the local community. Your participation will directly contribute to improving access to education and opportunities for those who need it most.

How to Take Part

Participation in the walk requires a £10 donation, which can be made in a variety of ways:

• Cash or cheque
• Bank transfer (BACS)
• Card payments (available on the day)

All participants will receive a wristband and water on the day to keep you going throughout the walk.
